It costs money to run a by-election. I think there should be a rule that if an MP stands down and triggers one and stands at that by-election, just for a bit of attention-seeking, then he should pay for it himself. No doubt one of his dodgy

@MacNaBracha I love the subtle differences in the way English is spoken north and south of the border. Down here in England, we refer to him as the #FrogFacedGrifter, but actually I think the Scottish version of that has a great ring to it.
