What “goombas” means
WikipediaGoombas, known in Japan as Kuribō and originally called Little Goombas, are a fictional species of mushroom-like creatures from Nintendo's Mario franchise. They first appeared in the 1985 NES video game Super Mario Bros. as the first enemy players encounter and serve as common foot soldiers in Bowser's army.
