  • @pglpm Very straightforward, it seems. I added a file `R/.#ignoreme.R` as well as a line `R/.\#ignoreme.R` in `.Rbuildignore` . Then building the package leads to that file not being included.

  • @eddelbuettel Hi Dirk, suppose you have a file with name `.#ignoreme.R` in your `local/` directory – note the ".#". Does `R CMD build` or `devtools::install()` work without hiccups in your case?
