  • Taking a stab at the calculations. I can get about 10hrs of runtime off the Predator 5kW generator at about 3500W or 35kWh for a 20lb tank of propane. Maybe 500W on average with cycle times for the heat pump. So about 70hrs of heating. Look

  • Resorting to my little propane catalytic heater. Batteries just to low for the heat pump this evening. If I conserve until bedtime I can run the heat pump at a low setting overnight. #offGridLiving
